Braile & Audio

Under the Disability Discrimination Act, service providers now must consider making reasonable adjustments to the way they deliver their services so that disabled people can access them.

It is estimated that 1 in 5 people living in Northern Ireland are disabled. Many of these people cannot read or access information (and this very likely includes the information you provide to your consumers) because it is only available in print format.

Due to continued demographic changes our population will contain many more elderly people and generally more disabled people and consequently more people with a serious sight loss.

This population cannot be ignored and it makes good business sense to proactively interface with these individuals.

Under the terms of the DDA people with serious sight loss have a right to receive information in an appropriate format i.e. Braille, Audio Tape or Large Print.
